New Video
We're very excited to show you the music video for 'Parallel' from our debut album. Big thank you to Scott Quinn for giving up so much of his time to make it and to Corry Raymond for his help on the cinematography.

Month of May
Seeing as we have been working on a lot of ‘behind the
scenes’ material this month, here’s an update on what we've been (and will be) up
to!
We kicked off the month with a wonderful gig in the Colston
Hall Foyer. It was a pleasure to be back, and we were so delighted with the
amount of support – it really does mean a lot.
Last week we took a trip to Devon with film makers Scott Quinn and Corry Raymond to create a new music video. Director and editor Scott has been working his magic on the footage and we can’t wait to show everyone!
What we've been spending most of our time on is preparing to
go into the studio tomorrow. We've been recording a range of demos for a while
now, trying to shortlist which new track we all feel is the right one.
All of us are so excited to record again, and those
pre-studio butterflies are starting to settle in! It’s going to be so exciting
to be able to share something new with you, so keep a look out on our website
for information and updates.
At the end of the month on the 30th, we will be
playing at the Old Theatre Royal for the Bath Fringe Festival. Playing alongside
us will be Cindy Stratton and Marius Frank with special guest Ellie Frank. The
Old Theatre Royal is a beautiful venue and we can’t wait to play there! Tickets are available direct from the Fringe Festival website.
All in all it’s an exciting month, and further updates on
everything mentioned will be available from our website and social media sites.

Another Video Shoot!
On Monday we went down to North Devon again to film another music video for our album. This time, however, we didn't go overboard crazy and create dresses, run about the woodland and build giant fires. This time we took the more normal approach to music videos.
It was lovely to work again with filmmakers Scott Quinn and Corry Raymond, who’s professional and experienced approach made the experience feel really grounded.
Although we can’t say too much now, keep your eyes peeled for later on this month…

The Honeyfire Album Launch 11/12/14
As you may know, we are launching our debut album 'The Honeyfire' on the 11th December at The Louisiana in Bristol. To those of you who have heard us talking about it enough, we apologise, but we're just so excited it's coming up so soon!!
Having been working on this album for over a year now, we've had some time to plan a few special things to happen on the launch. We're determined to make this our best show so far, and to really celebrate the 'birth' of The Honeyfire.
We are so pleased to have the brilliant, talented and kind Dear Light support us for the evening. He creates a lovely, intimate sound and is definitely not one to miss. These last few weeks we have been working with Dear Light, planning some collaboration for the launch. We will be playing as his band on a few of his songs, and he will be adding piano, bass and drums on a few of ours. Our last rehearsal was great fun and the added instruments to our songs really helped re-create the full album sound. Not to mention we loved playing his songs - there's just something special about playing music with friends.
Another new and exciting thing we'll be doing is a projection show. We've been putting together embarrassing clips of us just being us, clips from our music videos and footage of us playing. So make sure you get your ticket if you want to catch us doing any embarrassing dancing that should never have been caught on camera!
As well as collaborating with Dear Light, we might be inviting other friends and some of you onto the stage to make the night extra special.
We won't give away any more for now, but it would mean the world to us to see as many of you there as possible. We truly can't wait to show you what we've been working so hard for.
We've just noticed we're one of the Bristol Ticket Shop's recommended shows too!
Tickets are £4 and can be pre-ordered from our Bandcamp page or Bristol Ticket Shop.

Album Update, BSR FM & Other News
We like to keep you all updated, so here are some things we've been working on these last few weeks.
Firstly a big thanks to everyone who has pre-ordered the album or bought a ticket to the launch show. Your support and generosity means so much to us. We're listening to the final mastered tracks today and really cannot wait to share them with you. If you're signed up to our mailing list you'll be the first to hear the whole album in it's entirety which we will be streaming on-line in a few days time. Here's a little peek at some of the artwork.
As you may be aware, we are playing at the Underbelly of Hoxton in London tomorrow (16th October). We are really excited to be playing in London again and will tell you all about it when we’re back. To prepare we have been spending lots of time rehearsing our set, and with Anja’s garage getting colder this is becoming good practice for playing with stiff fingers.
During our rehearsals we have even been playing around with some new material – one of our favourite things to do!
We have been meeting with Richard Williams about our ‘Orpheus’ song, putting plans into place for how we will launch the project next year. Watch this space!
On Sunday evening we were on Bradley Stoke Radio with James Hyden for his penultimate show. We had a lot of fun discussing the crazy things that happen to us and eating the cakes we had made, as well as playing a few songs. James has been very helpful and supportive over the years and we thank him for that.
Another exciting thing we have been up to is planning our new video! We loved making the video for Road Signs for you all and can’t wait to be doing it again. Expect vibrant colours, hand-made (and somewhat eerie looking) costumes and various locations. If you have been keeping an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages, you will have seen glimpses of what we have been making.

Album Launch Update
December the 11th may seem a long time away, but it’s getting closer and we’re getting more excited and prepared each day.
We are now ready to announce that the very talented ‘Dear Light’ will be starting off the night at The Louisiana in Bristol as our support act. We’re very excited about this, and have even organised some collaboration to happen during each of our sets. This will result in a performance that will only happen once, so to make sure you don’t miss out on the fun buy an e-ticket now.
We very much recommend listening to Dear Light’s wonderful material and are sure you’ll love it as much as we do.
In the meantime, we’re going to keep working hard on piecing the album together to create our biggest achievement to date. Hope to see you at the launch night!

| The Honeyfire and Bashema at the Balloon Fiesta |
were rather shy so next time please do come over and have a chat. Thank you to Bashema from Meet Your Feet who joined us on piano for a few songs and for Jelli Records for running the stage. After playing we stayed and enjoyed sets from Darren Hodge, Brockley Forest and Meet Your Feet.
We're now all on holiday which is nice but a bit sad to be apart. We'll be back in two weeks fully recharged and ready to work on an exciting new collaboration project involving Greek mythology the underworld and a trip to a London recording studio! We'll post more on that soon.Really excited for our next show which has just been announced in basement of The Louisiana in Bristol for THE FLUX Presents playing alongside Ellie Makes Music and Demi Louise Music on Friday 12th September. This will be a stripped back acoustic (ish!) set from us which will be fun. Checkout the Facebook event for more information. Entry is £5 on the door. Doors open 7.30pm.

Announcement - Debut Album & New Band Name
We are very excited to announce that we are changing our name. As of today Wolfhound will be known as The Honeyfire.

We feel a very different band to the original Wolfhound duo. We underwent a big change when we became a trio and our music as changed as a result. We wanted a name that matched our new identity.
We thought long and hard about who we are and The Honeyfire just felt right as the name that describes us and our music.
We now have a new website so please do have a look. There will be a period of transition as all our social media pages catch up, so please bear with us. We hope you like the new name and look.
We are also very proud to announce that our debut album, The Honeyfire will be released on 11th December.
The Honeyfire is a ten track album recorded in April this year with Jim Barr (Portishead and Get The Blessing) at J & J Studio in Bristol. The album is now available to pre-order as a CD or download.
Pre-ordering the album will help us enormously with the upfront manufacturing costs and as a little thank you for supporting us, everyone who pre-orders the album before 15th October will have their name printed on the CD sleeve notes. In addition, pre-orders will receive two exclusive bonus track downloads.
There will be a launch party at The Louisiana in Bristol on Thursday 11th December and we’re looking forward to meeting many of you there. Tickets are now available from our Bandcamp store and can also be purchased while pre-ordering the album CD for a special discount.
Full details of the launch event and line-up will be announced soon.
