A few weeks ago we told you we’d been recording a song in
Toybox Studios about Eurydice and Orpheus in the underworld.
Today we went back to Toybox for the mixing of the song. By
this we mean that we mostly nodded vigorously at Stef’s suggestions and work,
and proceeded to wildly head bang the rest of the time.
Our more sensible sides, however, found it interesting and
fun to sit in on the mixing session, since we got to share ideas about how we
wanted it to sound and could easily fix anything we felt could improve.
We’re really pleased with the result and can’t wait until it’s
available to the public. As we previously mentioned, it is quite a different
sound to what we normally do, but it’s more exciting that way, right?
We will soon let you know when the song will be available, and
share some more information about it too. Good things come to those who wait!
